A 23 year old Saint Joseph man was seriously injured Monday night when his motorcycle hit a car on the North Belt. Police Sergeant Keith Dudley says the motorcyclist was one of two headed north on the Belt just after 10 pm when a car driven by a 29 year old Easton man pulled out of the Wendy’s parking lot.

One motorcycle swerved around the car, but the other slid into the side of it. The rider was taken to Heartland with serious injuries. The crash blocked traffic on the Belt for about two hours. The accident is still under investigation.
