LENEXA–A teenage driver was injured in a Johnson County crash on Thursday evening.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Kia driven by  Jennifer Lynn Lorenz-Johnson, 19, Mission, was southbound at I-35 just north of I-435 in Lenexa at a high rate of speed and lost control. The vehicle then struck the median wall and rolled over and came to rest.

Lorenz-Johnson was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

The KHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
