A Missouri man was injured in a Sunday ATV accident in Livingston County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred as a 1985 Honda ATV driven by Roger D. Cain, 58, Chillicothe, was westbound on private property just south of Livingston 233.

The ATV malfunctioned causing it to strike a tree. The vehicle then rolled ejecting the driver. Cain was transported to St. Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City with serious injuries.
