STANBERRY- Two teenagers were injured in a Gentry County crash on Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Jeep driven by Jonathan E. Farnsworth, 23, Stanberry, was southbound on 495 Road four miles east of Stanberry.

The road transitioned from mud to gravel and the driver lost control.

The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road and struck a fence. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment, overturned and struck an embankment.

Passengers in the vehicle Ashley Farnsworth, 19, and Hailey Farnsworth, 16, both of Stanberry were transported to Northwest Medical Center in Albany. Jonathan Farnsworth was not injured.

The MHP reported they were not wearing seat belts.
