AMAZONIA- A husband and wife  were injured during a Wednesday crash in Andrew County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Jeep driven by Michael L. Brushwood, 55, Amazonia, was northbound on Route K three miles south of Amazonia. The vehicle went across the centerline, off the west side of the road, struck a tree and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its top.

Brushwood and a passenger Susan G. Brushwood, 55, Amazonia, were transported to Heartland Regional Medical Center.

The MHP reported they were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
