ALBANY-A teenage driver was injured in an accident just after 6:30 on Saturday morning in Harrison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Malibu driven by Ronnee S. Wilson, 18, Ridgeway, was eastbound on U.S. 136 just east of Route D. The vehicle traveled off the road. The driver overcorrected, crossed the centerline, traveled off the road, and struck an embankment.

Wilson was transported by private vehicle to Northwest Medical Center in Albany.

The MSHP reported she was not wearing a seat belt.
