CAINESVILLE- Two teenagers were injured in a Monday evening Harrison County accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 GMC pickup driven by Katelyn Y. Stone, Cainesville, was southbound on Route V one mile north of Cainesville. The truck traveled off the west side of the road. The driver overcorrected, the truck traveled off the east side of the road and struck an embankment.

Stone and a passenger in the truck Tandy M. Allen, 14, Cainesville, were transported to Harrison County Community Hospital. Lifenet then transferred Allen to Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines.

The MSHP reported they were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident
