Dr. Jaime Dial is resigning as Director of Secondary Education for the St. Joseph School District, effective June 30. She has accepted a position with the Park Hill School District as Director of Secondary Education.
In addition, her husband Mike Dial, has resigned his position as Assistant Principal at Truman Middle School and has accepted a position as Assistant Principal at Oak Park High School.
As Director of Secondary Education, Dr. Jaime Dial supervised 7-12 Principals, 7-12 Curriculum Coordinators as well as several secondary programs including ESOL and Alternative Schools. She also mentored new administrators and helped facilitate the SJSD Aspiring Principals’ Cohort and New Teacher Mentoring Programs. Dr. Dial began her career in the St. Joseph School District August 1, 2006. Before that, Dr. Dial was Assistant Principal with Excelsior Springs High School.
“Dr. Dial has made invaluable contributions to the St. Joseph School District during her time here. Her dedication to her colleagues and the students of the St. Joseph School District is admirable. We wish her the best in her future endeavors,” said Dr. Fred Czerwonka, Superintendent of Schools.
Dr. Dial holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Western State University and Master’s degree and Doctorate in Administration from Baker University.
