TRENTON- A Missouri man was injured in a head on crash Thursday morning in Grundy County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Freightliner semi-truck driven by Stephen D. Curry, 65, St. Paul, MN., was westbound on MO. 6 four miles west of Trenton.

A 2012 Chrysler 200 driven by Gregory S. Delp, 48, Trenton, was eastbound, pulled onto the shoulder and stopped trying to avoid the truck. The semi crossed the centerline, traveled onto the eastbound shoulder and struck the Chrysler head on.

Delp was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital and later to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries.

The MSHP reported Delp was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
