St. Joseph’s game with U.S. Military All-Stars canceled; will now play Ban Johnson All-Stars

riggertMustangsThe St. Joseph Mustangs opponent for the Thursday, July 3rd game, has been changed. Previously, the Mustangs were set to face the U.S. Military All-Stars, as this had been an annual event. Due to health reasons, the U.S. Military All-Stars have canceled their entire 2014 summer tour.

The Mustangs will play on July 3rd at 7 pm against the Ban Johnson All-Stars. All Veterans and Active Military will get in free for this event, as it will include a special pregame ceremony honoring three of St. Joseph’s local heroes. Also taking place during the pregame ceremonies, Falcon Skydiving will jump into the stadium, and the Mustangs will have a special presentation featuring a bald eagle. The night will end with a patriotic Heartland Health Fireworks Spectacular.

Mustangs General Manager Ky Turner said, “We’ve had a lot of fun going up against the U.S. Military All-Stars the past couple of years. However, I’m very excited for what we have planned for the entire night. We are very honored to honor some of our local heroes before the game, and I know the Ban Johnson All-Stars will give our team a very exciting match up. We have the best fireworks show in Mustangs history planned following the game.”
