If you see a familiar face walking around Manhattan that looks a bit like a former K-State quarterback, don’t be too surprised. Collin Klein, who was recently cut from the Montreal Alouettes, has reportedly agreed to join Coach Bill Snyder’s staff this upcoming season. Scott Fritchen, reporter for GoPowercat.com, reported that Collin Klein will be taking some role in the coaching staff, but the extent of the deal has yet to be decided.

No doubt Klein will in some way mentor senior quarterback Jake Waters in the 2014 season, and there’s not a better person for the job. Klein was a Heisman Trophy Finalist after taking the Cats through a 11-2 season his senior year, as well as the Fiesta Bowl.
