HAMILTON- A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday in Caldwell County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy Cobalt driven by Alisa A. Evans, 24, Hamilton, was northbound on Route B six miles southeast of Hamilton. The driver lost control of the vehicle. It went off the left side of the road, overturned and the driver was ejected.

Evans was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center and then to Liberty Hospital.

The MSHP reported she was not wearing a seat belt.
