Police are investigating the theft of a truck in the midtown area Thursday morning. The owner of the truck pursued the thieves, and for a brief time police were pursuing them.

That pursuit ended shortly after 6am. Officers were interviewing the victims at 11th and Mitchell.

There were no injuries.  So far, police have not located the truck or the suspect.

Captain Jeff Wilson of the St Joseph Police Department says an acquaintance borrowed the vehicle, but refused to return it.
