A murder trial is now scheduled in March for a woman originally charged with helping dispose of the murder weapon.

Angela Henderson, also known as Angela Mollett, is now charged with Second Degree Felony Murder, Armed Criminal Action, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Felony murder is alleged when a victim dies during the commission of another felony.

Clinton Justice, 57, was found fatally stabbed by his daughter on Dec. 8, 2012. Authorities believe three people went to his apartment to rob him.

A jury trial is scheduled to begin March 9, 2015. Buchanan County Circuit Judge Daniel Kellogg scheduled a pre-trial hearing February 19. The trial is expected to last a week.

The original court documents stated that Ms Henderson and her son, co-defendant Joshua Mollett, were present when Mr. Justice was killed. Investigators believe the Molletts carried the murder weapon away from the scene of the killing and discarded it. Law enforcement officers discovered a knife several blocks away from the apartment.

Joshua Mollett was ruled incompetent to stand trial in the case, but has been endorsed as a witness to testify in his mother’s trial. Prosecuting Attorney Dwight Scroggins says there is a different standard for competence as a witness than the standard used to determine the competency of a defendant.

In July, Kim Keith pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Felony Murder in Mr Justice’s death, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
