It’s been a busy week for firefighters in our area.
On Monday, the St Joseph Fire Department responded to a fire in a trailer home at 5507 Lower Lake Road.
Fire Inspector Steve Henrichson tell us the home sustained $40,000 damage, essentially destroying the trailer. Mr Henrichson says the fire was caused by a furnace malfunction.
The fire was reported at about 5:15pm Monday. Henrichson says no one was home at the time, and there were no injuries.
On Tuesday night, St Joe firefighters responded to a slow burning fire in an apartment building in the 100 block of Park Lane, east of 22nd and Highly Streets. Click here for more.
Wednesday morning, fire crews from Savannah were called to put out a fire in a warehouse along US-169 highway. We have photographs and video of that fire here.
