CALDWELL COUNTY- A teenager was injured in an accident just before 3 p.m. on Friday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Arctic Cat ATV driven by Dakota J. Wooten, 14, Smithville, was traveling southwest down a hill in a pasture in the 6300 Block of Ore Road.

The driver lost control and was ejected.

Wooten was transported to Liberty Hospital.

The MSHP reported he was not wearing a helmet.
