KANSAS CITY- A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Wyandotte County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Alexandra Lambing, 23, Kearney, MO. was northbound on Interstate 635 near State Avenue.

The vehicle crossed the inside shoulder, struck the median wall, swerved across all lanes, crossed the outside shoulder and struck a guardrail.

Lambing was transported to KU Medical Center.
The KHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
