LOUISBURG – A Kansas man died in an accident just before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Miami County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1988 Ford F 250 pickup driven by Gerald L. Wolken, 55, Greeley, was westbound on Kansas 68 just east of U.S. 169.

The driver went left of center and hit semi head-on.
Wolken was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Frontier Forensics.

The semi driver Franklin W. Britton, 50, Salina, was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

The KHP reported Wolken was not wearing a seat belt.
