The. St. Joseph Police Department is currently investigating a shooting at N. Belt Walmart.

Police responded to a shooting call outside of the N. Belt Walmart just after 8 p.m.

According to Officer Keith Dudley an altercation took place inside the store between two men and then spilled out into the parking lot. After the fight became physical Dudley said one man pulled a gun and fired a shot. The injured man ran from the scene and was transported by private vehicle to Mosaic Life Care where he under went emergency surgery.

Police are currently looking for two individuals a man and a woman who were at the scene for questioning. A photo will be released shortly.
