ST. JOSEPH- Two people were injured in an accident just before 5 a.m. on Saturday in Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by Joana A. Flemmer, 24, Bowdon, ND., was southbound on Interstate 29 ten miles north of St. Joseph.

The vehicle was passing a semi and started to slide. The Silverado traveled off the east side of the road and overturned.

Flemmer and a passenger Seth A. Flemmer, 27, Bowdon, ND., were transported to Mosaic Life Care. The semi driver was not injured.

The MSHP reported all were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
