TRENTON- A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just before 7 a.m. on Saturday in Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Lincoln driven by Eva L. Hanes, 60, Trenton, was westbound on Mo. 6 just east of Trenton. The vehicle drove onto the ice covered Thompson River Bridge, slid and struck the railing on both sides of the road.

Hanes was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital.

The MSHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
