TARKIO – A Missouri man was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Atchison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Lexus SUV driven by Romen L. Hogan, 21, Tarkio, was northbound on U.S. 59 just south of Tarkio.

The driver suffered a medical condition. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, struck a sign and a tree.

Hogan was transported to Community Hospital.

The MSHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
