TONGANOXIE- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 9 a.m. on Tuesday in Leavenworth County.

The Kansas Highway patrol reported a 1998 Toyota passenger car driven by Xai K. Vang, 58, Kansas City, was southbound on 182nd Street just south of Evans Road near Tonganoxie.

The vehicle slid through the intersection and hit the ditch.

Vang was transported to Providence Medical Center.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
