WATSON – Two teenagers were injured in an accident just before 11a.m. on Saturday in Atchison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Focus driven by Tawni N. Martin, 14, Westboro, was southbound on Route D two miles south of Watson.

The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road. The driver overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected.

Martin and a passenger Hannah E. Boesser, 14, Farragut, IA., were transported to Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg.

The MSHP reported Martin was not wearing a seat belt.
