KANSAS CITY (AP) – Kansas City police have connected the fatal shootings of two men who were found less than a mile apart.

Police identified the victims as Calvin Watson and Daniel Conner, both 21 years old and from Kansas City. Police said in a news release that the first victim was found dead around 8:20 p.m. Friday. An officer then found a second victim who died at an area hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
