The city of Gentry is under a boil advisory until Friday afternoon.

According to Bobbi Gladstone with the Public Water Supply District of Worth County water was shut off to the town for around an hour Wednesday.

“Anytime there’s reduced pressure you have to be on a boil advisory,” Gladestone said.

The boil advisory is expected to be lifted by 3 p.m. Friday.
