Five players were ejected after yet another benches-clearing fight in a Royals game. Players from both dugouts and bullpens ran onto the field and punches were thrown during a fight that lasted a couple of minutes.

Royals Yordano Ventura, Lorenzo Cain and Edinson Volquez along with Chris Sale and Jeff Samardzija from Chicago were ejected.

Kansas City won for the fourth time in five games, beating the White Sox in Chicago 3-2 in 13 innings.
