The Northwest Missouri State University women’s tennis team fell to Southwest Baptist on Saturday afternoon in the MIAA semifinals, 5-3, at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield, Mo.
Northwest is now 17-7 on the year. No. 19 ranked Southwest Baptist improved to 21-2.
Aniek Kolen and Stephanie Mannix combined to score all three of Northwest’s points. Kolen won at No. 4 singles and Mannix won at No. 5. The duo also came up with an 8-0 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Northwest Missouri State will face Nebraska-Kearney at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning in Springfield, Mo., in the third place match. Southwest Baptist will play Northeastern State for the championship.
