A 17-year-old male was arrested and a firearm was seized this morning in the 1800 block of Jones St.

According to Capt. Jeff Wilson officers responded to the area around 9:30 this morning and arrested the teen.

“Reported to have been in the area and was involved in utilizing what appeared to be a firearm in a threatening manner,” Wilson said.

Police also seized a firearm as a result of the incident.

The reason for the disturbance is currently unknown.

Detectives are investigating.
