The National Weather Service is predicting high water in St Joseph this weekend.

Rainfall totals are only expected to reach about one inch, but the Missouri River is forecast to reach more than two feet above its minor flood stage of 17.0 feet.

At 6:30am Friday, the River at St Joseph had risen to 11.48 feet.  Click the graphic for the latest information.

By Saturday afternoon, forecasters say the river will reach 19.6 feet at St Joseph before it starts to recede. It’s expected to drop below flood stage by Sunday morning, and resume more typical levels by Monday.
