The Chillicothe Police Department has released its incident report for Monday, May 11. Media release provided by Chillicothe Patrol Supervisor Sgt. John Valbracht.
On 05/08/15, Officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle leaving the scene of an accident on a private parking lot in the 1300 block of Washington Street. Officers reported that a parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle that failed to report the accident. There was moderate damage reported.
On 05/08/15, Officers were dispatched to a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident on a private parking lot in the 1400 block of Walnut Street. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Dana Angeline was driving through the lot and was struck by a vehicle that was backing from a parking stall driven by Christopher Noble. Officers reported minor damage to the vehicles.
On 05/08/15, Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury accident on N. Washington Street north of Park Lane. Officers reported that a vehicle driven by Janet McCauslin was northbound and slowed to make a left turn when she was struck in the rear by a northbound vehicle driven by Heidi Devore causing moderate damage.
On 05/08/15, Officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance in the 1100 block of Calhoun Street. Officers took a juvenile male into custody for disorderly conduct and assault. The Livingston County Juvenile Officer was contacted and the juvenile was taken to HMC for treatment and evaluation.
On 05/08/15, Officers arrested Angela L. Anderson in the 300 block of Third Street on a Livingston County Probation and Parole Warrant. Anderson was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail and is being held without bond.
On 05/08/15, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Clay Street. The incident was found to be verbal and no arrests were made.
On 05/08/15, Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street in reference to a theft. Officers arrested Christopher D. Harper for stealing. Harper was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and released on a Municipal Citation.
On 05/09/15, Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Jamison Street in reference to three small children playing outside and in the street unattended. Officers arrested Tibrucio V. Almojera for possession of less than 35 gm marijuana and paraphernalia. Officers contacted another family member to take custody or the children and Almojera was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and released on Municipal Citations. The incident was reported to the Livingston County Children’s Division.
On 05/09/15, Officers were dispatched to Brookfield Police Department in reference to Brookfield Officers arresting Lisa R. Teel on a Chillicothe Municipal Warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge. Teel was transported to the Chillicothe Police Department where she was processed and released after posting a $250.00 bond.
On 05/09/15, Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft in the 100 block of Herriford Street.
On 05/09/15, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of Arcadia. The incident was determined to be verbal and no arrests were made.
On 05/09/15, Officers were dispatched to check the well being of a person that was in a parked vehicle on a parking lot in the 2800 block of Grand Avenue. Officers arrested Annette M. Deveriendt for three counts of felony possession of a controlled substance. Deveriendt was transported to the Police Department where she was processed and transferred to Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail.
On 05/09/15, Officers discovered an unoccupied vehicle off the roadway in the 100 block of Hickory Street. The vehicle had run off the roadway, struck an embankment causing extensive damage and air bag deployment. Officers located the driver of the vehicle at his residence a short time later. Officers arrested R J Allen Cox in the 200 block of Graves Street for leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated, prior offender. Cox was transported to the Police Department where he was processed and transferred to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail. Cox is being held on a $5,000.00 cash bond. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Chillicothe Truck Repair and Towing.
On 05/10/15, Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of State Street. The incident was verbal and no arrests were made.
On 03/10/15, Officers were dispatched to a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle in the 300 block of Cherry Street. Officers reported that while the resident’s vehicle was parked, someone spray painted on the side and trunk area of the vehicle The incident remains under investigation.
