Police seek your help locating hit-and-run driver after cyclist injured

wpid-sjpd-patch1.jpgSt Joseph Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident early Thursday morning that injured a bicyclist.

Sergeant James Langston of the St Joseph Police Department says the cyclist was hit by a vehicle shortly after 5am along Stockyards Expressway near Illinois Street. The vehicle left the scene. Sergeant Langston describes it as a black unknown-model car with a green pinstripe along the side. If you can help investigators, call the TIPS hotline at (816) 238-TIPS.

The victim was transported to Mosaic Life Care with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
