Preservation Weekend kicks off in St. Joseph

preservation expoHistoric preservation is being tackled this weekend in St. Joseph.

The weekend kicked off Friday with the opening of a new exhibit called “Intersections: Of Time and Buildings.

The exhibit will be housed in three newly-restored rooms on the second floor of the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion.

Today, participants can take part in a Preservation Expo with many vendors and exhibitors and children’s crafts.

The Expo is taking place at the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion located at 1100 Charles Street in St. Joseph.

Tickets are $5 each, children 12 and under get in free.

Activities begin at 9 a.m. and run through 4 p.m.
