ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, will open in St. Joseph on Tuesday, May 19 at 10:30 a.m.

The restaurant is located directly in front of Hy-Vee on North Belt Highway. Menu items include lean-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, shoestring fries, and other items, as well as a large assortment of dessert treats prepared with your choice of freshly-churned, chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“We sincerely appreciate all of the excitement and anticipation surrounding our opening,” said Paul Hoover, franchise owner and operator. “It’s always fun to educate first-time guests on our restaurant concept and menu.

The Freddy’s restaurant will include indoor seating, as well as patio dining and drive-thru service.

Hoover operates the Freddy’s location in Lenexa, Kan. He also has locations in New Mexico and Kentucky.

“Freddy’s is a family-friendly restaurant concept,” Hoover said. “And whether you’re dining solo, with a few friends and family members, or celebrating a birthday or sports team victory with a large group, we welcome guests of all ages and parties of all sizes.
