Helen Mae Fletcher
1921-2015
Helen Mae Fletcher 93, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in a Saint Joseph Missouri health care center. She was born September 1, 1921 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Bertha and Lewis Clark. She worked at Missouri Methodist Medical Center Hospital as a Nurse’s aide for many years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, and was a 40 year member the King Hill Baptist Church and a 20 year member of the First Baptist Church of St. Joseph. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard G. Fletcher, half-sister, Lyda Barnes, and a brother, David Clark. Survivors include, three sons, Tom (Beth) Fletcher of Saint Joseph, MO, Michael L. (Linda) Fletcher of Albuquerque, NM, and James Fletcher of St. Joseph, MO, a daughter, Patricia (Bruce) Mills of Muncie, IN, seven, grandchildren, several, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Pastor Greg Dixon officiating. Troy R. Marrs, 48, Oregon, Missouri passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at a healthcare facility in Oregon, Missouri.
He was born June 16, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Marrs.
Survivors include: father, Russell Marrs, Forest City, Missouri; brother, Sean G. Marrs (Mandy), Forest City, Missouri; sister, Elizabeth West (Don), Fayetteville, Arkansas; nephews, Hayden and Dylan Marrs; niece, Erica White; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Diane Weir
1951-2015
Susan “Diane” Weir, 64, of St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her home.
Diane was born February 17, 1951 to Chester and Patricia (Hunt) Keling in St. Joseph, where she lived her entire life. She was a 1969 graduate of Benton High School. Diane worked for Quaker Oats for thirty years, retiring in 2001. On July 22, 1972, she married the love or her life, Mike Weir in St. Joseph, who preceded her in death in 2013. Diane was a member of King Hill Christian Church. She enjoyed shopping, most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, and her husband Mike.
She is survived by her children, Chris Weir and Patti (Mike) Blanchard; brothers, Chester “Butch” (Diane) Keling and Roger (Bonnie) Keling; grandchildren, Bryer, Autumn and Alexander Blanchard and Grant and Shalyn Weir, all of St. Joseph and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Clark-Sampson Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Clark-Sampson Funeral Home. Interment following service in Sugar Creek Cemetery, Rushville, MO. Dr. Scott Killgore officiating.

Alta M. (Nall) Dougherty
1927-2015
Alta M. (Nall) Dougherty 87, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center. She was born December 31, 1927 in Billings, MT where she was raised, she has lived in St. Joseph since the 1940’s. Alta had dedicated fifty years of cashiering for local grocery stores; Thomas Market, Beaty’s, Kings, and Safeway. She earned the nickname of “Sarge” as she trained the sackers “not to smash the bread”. A simple trip to WalMart was a three hour adventure as she always ran into people she knew from the grocery stores and would reminence with them. Mom always said the world celebrated her birthday, December 31st which she also celebrated with her grandson Bob. She enjoyed traveling, music and dancing. Alta had suffered for many years with Tic Douloureux aka Trigeminal Neoralgia. She was loved and respected by everyone who knew her. Alta will be greatly missed by her family. Alta was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters who were of the Nall family in Billings, MT. two daughter, Brenda Joyce Burchett, and Rayetta Burchett, 2 grandchildren, Terrie and Chris, Survivors include, two sons: Ralph Burchett of St. Joseph, Arlyn Luellen of Fulton, MO, two daughters, Barbara Clark of St. Louis, MO, and Shelly Mayo of St. Joseph, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and 2 nieces, Jeannie and Karen of Billings, MT.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Rev. Pat Sampson officiating, The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Janice Claire Rhodes 1929-2015

Janice Claire Rhodes, 85, Webster Groves, Missouri, formerly of Clearmont and Maryville, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Bethesda Orchard Care Center, Webster Groves.
Janice was born September 26, 1929, in Maryville, Missouri to Frank and Neva (McDermott) Rhodes and grew up in the Clearmont and Maryville areas.
A graduate of University of Missouri with a Bachelors of Music and Northwest Missouri Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Janice was a teacher in the public schools in Kirkwood, Missouri.
Janice retired from teaching in 1984 with 30 1/2 years of service in Missouri.
Janice was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Maryville, earned a Pilot’s License in 1985, member of Missouri Pilots Association and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include cousins Marian Loch, Maryville and Barbara Blackman, Sun City West, Arizona.
Graveside Service and burial will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2015 , at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont, Missouri.
