Two individuals were taken into custody after allegedly trying to force their way into a St. Joseph home.

According to Capt. Jeff Wilson police responded to the 900 block of S. 15th St. Tuesday around 5 p.m. on a disturbance call.

Wilson said several individuals approached the house and tried to force their way in.  However, the resident was able to keep them out.  Wilson said a firearm may have also been involved during the incident.  The victim, a 30-year-old female reported one shot possibly being fired.

Police were able to locate two in connection with the incident on investigation of robbery.  A 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old female were arrested at separate locations.

An investigation is ongoing.  Official charges have not yet been filed so names are yet being released.
