The City of St. Joseph announced Tuesday that repairs are being made to a manhole in the 2500 block of Jules.

Work is expected to be completed in one week, weather permitting.

The city said because Jules is a oneway street for eastbound traffic crews plan to keep one lane open for the duration of work. However, if necessary crews will close tthe road to traffic.

The city said in the event a detour is necessary, traffic will be directed south on 25th street to Edmond, then east to Noyes Boulevard, then north back to Jules.
