The St. Joseph Mustangs’ game against the Branson National in Bolivar Tuesday night was postponed after the fourth inning due to rain.
St. Joe’s summer college baseball team was trailing 2-1 after four when the game went into a delay and they never resumed play.
Branson scored single runs in the first and third innings to take a 2-0 lead before the Mustangs’ Orencio Fisher had an RBI single in the fourth inning.
Logan Jacik started for St. Joseph he allowed three hits and two runs in his four innings of work.
The Mustangs have had four games over the last week postponed due to rain. They return home Wednesday night as they host Joplin at 7:00 p.m. inside Phil Welch Stadium.
