Bishop LeBlond High School has announced Jeff Sullivan as its new principal.
Sillivan currently teaches physical education at Central High School, and has been the LeBlond varsity girls basketball coach for the past three years.
He earned a master’s degree in secondary education leadership from Northwest Missouri State University and his bachelor’s in science education and physical education from Missouri State University.
He and his wife Poppy Barbosa Sullivan have four children. His wife is a 1996 Bishop LeBlond graduate. Sullivan will begin work at LeBlond on July 1.
He replaces Dr. Solon Haynes, who has accepted a position with the St. Joseph School District as director of student services.
The LeBlond Advisory Board will host a welcome reception for Sullivan and his family from 5:30 to 7 on Tuesday, July 7 in the Fisher Family Commons
