Benjamin Joseph Buczek Jr.
1959-2015

Benjamin Joseph Buczek Jr. 73, of DeKalb, Missouri passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care. He was born July 23, 1941 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of Garnet & Benjamin Buczek Sr. He married Margaret “Peggy” Danback on April 2, 1960, and they shared 55 years together. He graduated from Christian Brothers high school 1959, was a Truck Driver for several of the local lines. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and was proud of his grandkids, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his earlier years. Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Christopher Buczek, and brother, David Buczek. He is survived by wife, Peggy Buczek of the home, three sons, Greg Buczek of Faucett, MO, Mike Buczek of St. Joseph, MO, and Kris (Kim) Buczek of Cosby, MO, three grandchildren: Erica Buczek-Tanaka, Konnor Buczek, and Karoline Buczek, and two great grandchildren, Yoshi and Mika. Velma Lee (Conley) Woolard
1928-2015

Velma Lee (Conley) Woolard, 86, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born October 7, 1928 to Charles and Jennie Conley in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Velma married Charles Thomas Woolard September 4, 1948 who preceded her in death on April 25, 2003.
Mrs. Woolard was a dietary aid at Methodist Medical Center, a member of the Buchanan County Extension Club, and a member of Woodson Chapel Church since 1955.
She enjoyed working in her garden and being outside.
Velma was preceded in death by her husband; son, Gary Woolard; parents; grandsons, Nicholas and Brandon Woolard; sister, Joanne Conley.
Survivors include sons, Melvin Woolard (Patti) and Ricky Woolard both of St. Joseph, Missouri; 4 granddaughters, Christina Woolard (Rick),Atchison, Kansas, Wendy Dorchelman (Brian), St. Louis, Missouri, Jaime Albers (Curtis), St. Joseph, Missouri, and Rachel Smith (Matt), Springfield, Missouri; grandson, Jason Woolard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Naomi Jean Hepburn, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
