The St. Joseph Police Department arrested half a dozen over the weekend for driving under the influence.
A sobriety checkpoint was conducted in St. Joseph Saturday, June 11. Officers checked 334 vehicles and arrested five individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol and one for dirving under the influence of drugs.
Six tickets were issued for driving while suspended/revoked license, and five for no operators license.
Several warrant arrests were made and 20 tickets for various traffic violations were also issued.
