Betty Mae DeSpain 47, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Mosaic Life Care. She was born October 30, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri. She married Tim DeSpain on 9/23/2001. Betty was preceded in death by her step father Dale Burgess Sr, brother, and Dale Burgess, Jr.. She is survived by husband, Tim DeSpain of the home, a son Aaron Burgess of Maryville, MO. mother, Ellen Burgess of Lowry City, MO, father Dennis Buczek, two brothers, Wayne Burgess, and Ray Wilson Jr. and two sisters; Teresa Buczek of Kansas City, KS, and Denise Buczek of Excelsior Springs, MO. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Betty DeSpain Memorial fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
