Burglars snag guns from pawn shop

wpid137133-wpid-sjpd-patch1.jpgUPDATE – Saint Joseph police are investigating an early morning burglary Tuesday at Midtown Pawn in which thousands of dollars worth of weapons were taken.

Capt. Jeff Wilson confirmed that more than a dozen guns were stolen.  Sergeant James Tonn said the items stolen valued “in the many thousands of dollars.”

Officers responded shortly after 2:30 am to the business at 22nd and Mitchell.  As the investigation continues police are asking for help from the public.
