The Lion’s Pool in Atchison, Kansas is going to the dogs next month.

The Sixth Annual Soggy Doggy Day is scheduled Saturday, August 16 from 1-4pm. Pet dogs and their human companions are invited to take a dip.

The city announcement says “all well-socialized canines and fun-loving owners welcome.” Admission is free, but donations to the Atchison Animal Shelter will be accepted at the pool.
