A man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries Monday morning after a one vehicle crash in Andrew County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 41-year-old Matthew Schmille of Amazonia was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier southbound on Route T about five miles south of Savannah around 8:30 when the vehicle went off the east side of the road and hit an embankment.

Schmille was taken by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of minor injuries.

The vehicle was reported to be totaled.
