
A 65-year-old Chillicothe man has been charged with five counts in connection with a child sex investigation.
Harold L. Hamrick was charged Friday with two counts of Statutory Sodomy, one count of Attempted Statutory Rape, and two counts of child molestation, all felonies. Online court documents show the charges range in dates from 2003 to 2011.
According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office an investigation of alleged child sex offenses began in February of this year. Friday, Hamrick surrendered to the sheriff’s office.
The LCSO said it worked with the Child Advocacy Center and State Technical Assistance Team on the investigation.
Hamrick is being held on $500,000 cash bond in the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.
