A traffic accident in Grundy County claims the life of a 25-year-old Trenton man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report says Brandon Bouzek’s Chevy left the roadway in the 800 block of 17th Street in Trenton shortly after 10pm Monday.

The vehicle hit a ditch and culvert tube and then went airborne.

While in the air, investigators believe the vehicle hit and snapped off a utility pole. According to the crash report, the vehicle then slid through a residential yard, struck a tree, careened off the tree and into an occupied residence.

Officials say no one inside the home was hurt.

Bouzek was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
