Saint Joseph police recovered a stolen trailer this morning and made a small business owner happy.

Police Sergeant Brett Kelly says he spotted the trailer being towed down 11th Street near Lifeline Foods. He pulled the vehicle over at 3:45 am and took the driver into custody for investigation of theft.

Officers returned the trailer to its owner, who used it in his seamless guttering business and was glad to get it back.
