The St. Joseph Police Department has identified the two men involved in a Tuesday morning motorcycle crash that shutdown Lovers Lane for several hours.

Traffic Sgt. Chris McBane has identified 25-year-old Quinn Reeder as the driver of the motorcycle and 27-year-old Zachary Sauls as the passenger.

Officers responded Tuesday around 7:18 a.m. to the 2200 block of Lovers Lane.

Sauls was taken by Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of a serious head injury.  McBane said he remains in serious condition in ICU.

Reeder had been taken into police custody but has since been released.  No charges have been filed.
