Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash Thursday in St. Joseph.
According to Capt. Jeff Wilson around 12:53 p.m. a white car turning out of Hy-Vee apparently failed to yield to an oncoming black pick-up and the pick-up t-boned the drivers side of the car.
Emergency responders had to extricate two of the three individuals inside the vehicle. The two females and one male all in their 40s were transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
Wilson said the crash is still under investigation.
Traffic was diverted in that area for about 45 minutes while crews were on scene.
